BANANA AND MALCAPUYA ISLANDS
Banana and Malcapuya Islands – both sparsely populated and located off the south-western coast of Culion – offer a truly tranquil experience complete with long stretches of white sand beaches, forested knolls and postcard-perfect waters.
Located about an hour’s boat ride from Sangat’s beachfront, Banana and Malcapuya are perfect destinations for snorkeling, underwater photo-ops, sunbathing and non-strenuous trekking.
This relaxing, all-day adventure begins as we push away from Sangat’s beachfront around 9am. Our first stop will be Malcapuya for a few hours before moving on to Banana Island which lies approximately 15 minutes further south. Refreshments will available throughout the day and lunch will be served (either on the boat or on the beach as you please) upon arrival at Banana.
Around 4pm we’ll re-board the boat for the return trip to Sangat.
