Cole Kuryakin – Copywriter

After a brief stint as a freelance magazine feature writer, Cole began his early career as an advertising copywriter with Macy’s California. After 4 years at Macy’s, Cole wrote for a number of US-based retail chains (Neiman Marcus, The Sharper Image, Saks Fifth Avenue), as well as several advertising agencies including Gray Advertising and Humbert/Clark.

In 1989, Cole re-focused his creative energies into the field of Graphic Design and, 4 years later, started his own San Francisco-based creative consulting agency: Hot Spot Design.

After moving to the Philippines in 1997, Cole continued to write, art-direct and design print and internet-based marketing material for a diverse mix of international clientele. In 2005 – after learning the many of the intricacies of web programming – Cole began his own internet design firm: Koisis Internet Business Applications.
