Home » Lusong Gunboat and Calumbuyan Island

Upon leaving Sangat at 9am, we’ll wind our way along the southern Busuanga coastline to our first destination: Lusong Island, home of the Lusong Gunboat wreck.

Submerged just one half meter below the surface, this wreck is perfect for an easy snorkel-supported examination of one of the many WWII Japanese relics in and around Coron Bay.

After we’ve exhausted our gunboat exploration we’ll motor another 35 minutes to Calumbuyan Island with its plentiful coral reefs teaming with wildlife including assorted varieties of starfish and giant clams.

On our way back to Sangat, we’ll take a quick detour and enjoy a relaxing day-ending dip in the Sangat Hot Springs.

Refreshments and lunch will be provided with a 5pm return.
