Malajon Island – commonly referred to as Black Island – resides approximately 2 hours north-east of Sangat. Malajon’s most impressive feature is a huge limestone mountain which crumbles into a long stretch of white sand beach along the island’s western coast.
A short walk along the beach will reveal three natural caves etched into the jagged cliff face. The largest of these caverns hides a natural mini pool surrounded by formations of black rock.
Malajon’s post-card perfect waters offer an ever-changing rainbow of marine life for those who want to explore with mask and snorkel.
Our final stop on this tour includes a short excursion to the friendly inhabitants of the Panlaitan fishing village.
The tour begins at 9am. Refreshments and lunch will be provided with a 5pm return to Sangat.
