Our Vision is to minimise our carbon footprint and be one of the leading eco-friendly dive resort in the Philippines, whilst providing our guests with an unforgettable holiday experience. The resort solar generation plant produces 220kW of power enabling the resort to be fully powered 24hrs/day by solar energy on sunny days. This energy is stored in a 200kW Lithium battery.

Since Sangat Island Dive Resort’s inception in 1994, we have been giving back to the local community. Most of our staff are from local communities adding value to the Calamian economy. Many of which have been given the opportunity to train in the country’s capital.

Together with our guest, our team contributes to various social and environmental projects. We take pride in our local participation, such as our programs with the provincial schools and our involvement with the indigenous community. We are devoted to advocating environmentally sustainable development. This can be seen in the ongoing commitment to minimising our carbon footprint through controlling our consumption of water and energy, waste production, and impact on the local communities.

Sangat Island guarantees that ecotourism will always drive our choices. We work to provide our guest with a positive holiday experience while simultaneously and tirelessly preserving the incredible destination we call home.
