Cancellation and Modification Policy
Cancellation More Than 30 Days Before Arrival: Full deposit refund, minus 1,000 PHP per person.
Cancellation Less Than 30 Days Before Arrival or No-Show: The deposit for the first night is non-refundable. Any additional deposit will be refunded, minus the cost of the first night and applicable bank charges.
Postponing Your Trip: Your deposit can be retained for a future booking, subject to availability.
Modifications: Please contact us directly at reservations@sangat.ph for any changes or cancellations.
The resort offers only 3 air-conditioned chalets – two are beachfront and one hilltop. However, all of our accommodations are designed for comfort, featuring large, mosquito-netted windows, electric ceiling fans, and floor fans to ensure ample ventilation.
Our beach and hillside cottages, with their stilt-mounted, open-roof design, naturally stay cool and comfortable throughout the day and into the evening.
Please note that only our air-conditioned rooms have hot running water. For other accommodations, while the showers aren’t heated, the fresh water from the taps is never uncomfortably cold, especially during the warm season.
All resort accommodations have power 24 hours a day.
During daylight hours – and into the evening of course – we provide continuous power (generated from our solar panel system) to our restaurant, bar facilities and rooms so that guests may keep their cell phones and laptops charged.
We do have individual safety deposit boxes in each room and we also have a large safe in our Front Desk office that guests may use to store larger valuables during their stay.
Yes, Value Added Tax is already included in all Sangat Island Dive Resort advertised prices.
Please note: A 4% optional service charge is automatically added to all extra services at our dive resort in lieu of tipping. If you’re not fully satisfied with our service, you have the option to request the removal of this charge upon settlement.
All beachfront and hillside chalets are equipped with two queen-sized beds, making them ideal for up to 4 guests.
One hilltop chalet features a queen-sized bed, while the other (air-conditioned) hilltop chalet has a king-sized bed, both perfect for 2 guests.
The Lambingan Villa, with a large double-queen bed, one queen bed, and a single bed, can comfortably accommodate a family of up to 7.
No, all chalet rooms do not have wifi. 24/h Wifi connectivity is only available at all common areas such as the restaurant, bar and front desk.
Our chalets do not have a standard minibar, but we do provide drinking water in the rooms.
As a sustainable resort, we do not sell plastic bottled water. We encourage guests to bring their own reusable water bottles, which can be refilled at our restaurant.
Please note that tap water is not suitable for drinking.
